Fundraiser
I have been raising money for Help for Heroes for 9 years and my current fundraising amount stands at £113,000. I am an Army veteran, having served with the Royal Corps of Transport for 18 years. I feel I have an obligation to help our guys and girls; you have an immediate bond with anyone who serves and they become your family.
Fundraiser
I was Help for Heroes Lincolnshire County Coordinator for 3 years and a general volunteer 2 years before that. In 2016 I was awarded a Help for Heroes "Above and Beyond" award for helping to develop the "Hero Kids" initiative. I was raised in a military family, with my father serving circa 25 years in the RAF and I still feel that 'big family' bond; it never goes away! It's so important we continue to support military veterans and their families.
